Hello friends!
I’m excited to share a new Christmas card with you today, featuring the sweetest little mice from Mama Elephant’s Candy Cane Lane stamp set, illustrated by the talented Aida Zamora.
This set is full of festive charm—adorable mice holding candy canes, sledding, or even napping against them! It also comes with a cozy snow-capped mushroom house, perfect for creating magical holiday scenes.
For my card, I started by stamping the images on Copic-friendly paper using Shachihata Ink in Chestnut Brown. Then, I colored everything with Copic markers (you can check the color chart in the photo for reference) and die-cut them using the coordinating Candy Cane Lane - CC.
To create the snowy background, I die-cut the Wavy Borders-CC and used it as a stencil. I ink-blended with Distress Oxide inks, then added splatters of white acrylic paint for that snowy winter feel.
Finally, I assembled all the colored pieces onto a card base and framed the scene with Plain Rectangle Frames. And voilà—my little holiday card was complete!
I love how cozy and cheerful this set feels, and I hope it inspires you to start your own Christmas cardmaking too.
