I’m excited to share my card for Day 2 of Mama Elephant's September 2025 Stamp Highlights, featuring the brand-new Bright City stamp set.Bright City clear stamp set features a whimsical village filled with charming buildings, perfect for creating cozy holiday scenes. To add an extra festive touch, the set includes strung lights that can be stamped between the buildings, bringing your village to life with warmth and cheer. Whether used on their own or combined into a bustling street scene, these playful illustrations are a delightful way to capture the magic of the holiday season in your handmade projects.
How I Made My Card
I started by stamping everything on watercolor paper using Shachihata Ink in Black. Then came the fun part, coloring! I mixed up a few of my favorite supplies for a soft but vibrant look:
Mildliner: Beige, Brown, Olive
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens: Blue Gray, Dark Agate, Gray Tint
Copic: R29 (for the doors, of course ❤️)
Once all the buildings were done, I die-cut them with the Bright City - Creative Cuts and built my little scene on a card panel from the Postcard Combo – Creative Cuts. The stitched frame adds such a nice touch!
To finish it off, I popped the houses and trees onto the card, sprinkled in some snow, and stamped the sentiment “All is calm, all is bright.” It came together into such a cozy little Christmas street, I’m obsessed!
