MAMA ELEPHANT - OCTOBER 2024 STAMPEDE

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop!
Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!

Get ready to be charmed by my latest creation! I'm thrilled to unveil my newest card featuring the adorable Fa La Llama stamp set, beautifully illustrated by Aida Zamora. You won't be able to resist the cuteness!

To begin, I prepared my panel card by die-cutting the Deckled Frames from sky blue card stock. I then blended Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass onto the card and added splatters of white acrylic paint for a finishing touch. Next, I stamped the Holly and Leaves in greenish colors using a combination of Shachihata Ink in pine and yellow-green. I cut them out with the Holly and Leaves - Creative Cuts. To add a touch of sparkle, I adorned the design with cheery red rhinestones. Backed up with foam tape and adhered to the panel card, positioning it as shown in the card layout. I stamped the llamas with Shachihata Ink - Chestnut on Copic-friendly paper and cut them out with Fa La Llama - Creative Cuts

I created a striking effect by heat embossing the sentiment (deck the halls with llama joy) in white on dark red card stock and then cut it out with Quick Stripes - Creative Cuts. The result is truly eye-catching and adds a special touch to the project. At last, I put the finishing touch on my card by embellishing it with dazzling clear rhinestones.

I love adding a personal touch to the inside of the card too. For this one, I combined the cheerful sentiment from the O' Tiny Tree (falalala) with the adorable Fa La Llama as well. It's the perfect way to spread some extra holiday cheer!

I took the time to jazz up the envelope by adding a llama headshot inside the Round Tag Wishes stamp and it turned out so cute! I love it!

MAMA ELEPHANT - SEPTEMBER DESIGNER SERIES

Hey everyone, it's Vera. Today I'm excited to share my latest project featuring the Yuletide Greetings and Elephant Cheer stamp sets.

OUR
Friendship
IS THE Star
On top OF MY
Christmas
TREE

I absolutely love the sentiment from Yuletide Greetings!

To start, I prepared my panel card. I die-cut the Postage Frame - Creative Cuts twice, once from white cardstock and once from Dusty Pink cardstock. Then, I stamped the Elephant Cheer, colored them with Copic Markers, and cut them out using the Elephant Cheers - Creative Cuts. I also stamped and die-cut the holly leaf sprigs from Holly and Leaves and placed them on the top along with a silver star to match the sentiment.

Here's a peek at the inside. I combined the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from Yuletide Greetings with words from Sparkle and Shine.

As a little extra, I created a Mini Gift Box using the Mini Bow Box - Creative Cuts.

Thanks for joining me! I hope you find today's project inspiring!

MAMA ELEPHANT - YULETIDE GREETINGS

Hello everyone! We've reached the final day of Mama Elephant's September stamp highlights. Today we're featuring Yuletide Greetings.

Get ready for some holiday magic as I combine the heartwarming Yuletide Greetings with the charming Mama Elephant friends from the Holiday Block Set and the serene winter scene from BG Wonders of Winter Set.

I stamped all the images with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink on Copic-friendly paper and then cut them out with the coordinating die. After that, I ink-blended the background using Distress Oxide Inks in Speckled Egg and Stormy Sky and splattered it with white acrylic paint. Finally, I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Ink-Satin Red to add some contrast to the card.
