MAMA ELEPHANT NOVEMBER DESIGNER SERIES

Hello everyone, it’s Vera here and welcomes to the Mama Elephant Designer Series blog! Today I’d like to share my project features the Zodiac Mouse Stamp set and Fortune Envelope - Creative Cuts. With Zodiac Mouse set you can create various themes! 

Here I created mini cards with various themes: Christmas, Chinese New Year, Birthday and Valentine!  With mini size, it's easy to mix and matches with my Mama Elephant collections. The images are stamped on Bristol paper, colored with Copic and cut it out with the coordinating dies. I listed all the material that I used in the picture below.

Because Christmas is coming first, I created a Christmas card. Here I used the sentiment from Mini Merry Messages and Holiday Messages set.

The Chinese New Year of 2020 falls on January 25th.  2020 is a Year of the Rat according to the Chinese zodiac, so the Zodiac Mouse is perfect for the Chinese New Year 2020. Here I combined with Lunar Sayings for the sentiment.

Next, I use the Zodiac Mouse for a Birthday theme and paired with Mini Everyday Messages and the Birthday Messages stamp set. 

and last, I created a Valentine theme by combining with Cross My Heart stamp set.

MAMA ELEPHANT CHERRY BLOSSOM BRANCH

Happy Friday! Today is the last day for Mama Elephant November Stamp Highlights! We're highlighting for Cherry Blossom Branch stamp set. 

The Cherry Blossom Branch set is illustrated by Anna Osvald. These flowers have a special significance as it represents Spring and the promise of new life. 

I stamped the flowers on watercolor paper, colored with Tombow Dual Markers and cut it out with Cherry Blossom Branch - Creative Cuts. For the background, I inked blending with the Distress Ink: Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Antique Linen. Next, I die cut Big Frame from Peek a Frame - Creative Cuts and cut again with the smaller rectangle frame from Basic Rectangle - Creative Cuts.

MAMA ELEPHANT ZODIAC MOUSE STAMP HIGHLIGHTS

Hello! It's time for another Mama Elephant Stamp Highlights! And today we're highlighting for Zodiac Mouse stamp set.



Here I use Zodiac Mouse for a Birthday card combined with the sakura frame from Sakura Lantern - Creative Cuts. I stamped the images on Bristol paper, colored with Copics and cut it out with Zodiac Mouse Creative cuts. 



For the background, I inked blending with the Distress Ink pad: Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose, and Milled  Lavender. For the sentiment,  heat embossed with silver embossing powder. I used the "happy birthday" from Woodland Gifts and the words are from Birthday Messages stamp set.

PPS - Happy Track & Field (Chapter 2)

Hello friends! A little update on my blog to share my card I created using the Penguin Palace Stamp named  Happy Track & Field (Chapter 2). This adorable track meet themed stamp set will give you endless crafting fun!  Cheer on these cute critters!  This fun set also coordinates with the Happy Track & Field (Chapter 1) stamp set.

I stamped the images on Canson® XL® Bristol paper, colored with Copic Markers and cut it out with  Happy Track & Field (Chapter 2) - Penguin Perfect Cuts.  I die cut a star dies and use the negative as a stencil and inked blending with tumbled glass distress ink as shown on my card. 

I just love the girls, the rabbit holding the pom-poms to cheer up the bear ❤

Just a simple card  from me but I hope can cheer up your day 😊

MAMA ELEPHANT - LUNAR SAYINGS STAMP HIGHLIGHTS

Hello! I'm back with another Mama Elephant Stamp Highlights and today we're showcasing the Lunar Sayings stamp set.

Here, I used the sakura frame from the Sakura Lantern Creative Cuts and paired the Zodiac Mouse with the mice from the Tandem Ride stamp set. I adding little elements to complete the Lunar New Year nuance with tiny red envelopes and tangerine fruits from the Lunar Extras stamp set. For the envelope, I just simply cut out the character "Fu" from Fortune Envelope Creative Cuts and adhered to the envelope. 

I stamped all images on Canson® XL® Bristol paper, colored with Copic marker and cut it out with the coordinating dies. The Sakura frame colored with Tombow Dual markers and inked blended with the distress ink.

MAMA ELEPHANT ZODIAC OX

Hi everyone! Today I'm back with a card for Mama Elephant Zodiac Ox Stamp highlights. I create a friendship card using this moo moo images 😍

I started by stamping all images from Zodiac Ox on Canson® XL® Bristol paper, colored with Copic Markers and cut it out with Zodiac Ox Creative Cuts. For the background, I cut out the clouds from On The Hill Creative Cuts and used it as stencil. 

I framed my card by using the Basic Rectangles - Creative Cuts and  heat embossed the sentiment on rectangle label die from  Sew Fancy - Creative Cuts. The Friend word is from Words Defined

Today I'm sharing Chinese New Year Card created with the brand new Lunar Sayings and Sakura Lanterns Creative Cuts. The Chinese New Year of 2020 falls on January 25th.  2020 is a Year of the Rat according to the Chinese zodiac, so the Zodiac Mouse is perfect for the Chinese New Year 2020.





I started by stamping the images from Zodiac Mouse on Canson® XL® Bristol paper with Memento Black Ink, colored with Copics Marker and cut them out with Zodiac Mouse - Creative Cuts. Other images that I used are a tiny lucky envelope from Zodiac Ox, a tangerine fruit from Lunar Extras, the hat from Lunar Animals and the fan from Lion Dance set.

Next, I cut out the sakura frame from Sakura Lantern on watercolor paper. I colored the blossom and the branches with Tombow Dual Marker and inked blending the frame with Distress ink pads with the same colors with my based card. I  also stamped the cherry blossom images from Lunar Extras on the lantern and colored with Tombow Dual markers. 

The character 福 (Fú) was cut out on watercolor paper that I paint with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry Colors - Gold paint and placed on my card as a symbol of "good luck" or "good fortune" in the Chinese New Year.  I finished my card by heat embossing the 恭喜發財 (Kung Hei Fat Choi) with rose gold embossing powder.

I created the Hóngbāo (Red Envelope) with the new Fortune Envelope - Creative Cuts.  As you can see, I just simply heat embossed the word from Lunar Sayings and the  Zodiac Mouse on the envelope with rose gold embossing powder, I love the finished look! 😍

MIGHTYHANDS CHINESE STAMP RELEASE

PPS - FUN NIGHT OUT

Hello friends! Today I have a card to share with you featuring Penguin Palace Stamps named Fun Night Out. In this set, it has a Cool kitty Deejaying in a Club!  Let's wiggle and giggle all night!

I stamped the images on watercolor paper, colored with Tombow Dual Brush Pens and cut it out with Fun Night Out Penguin Perfect Cuts. For the background, I ink blending the Cyber Wallpaper - Penguin Perfect Patterns with Distress Ink. 

I finished my card by adding here and there some sparkling clear sequins.
